A circular walk through the varied woodland and farmland of the Fasque and Fettercairn estates. From Fettercairn village we walk past the distillery and then turn towards the hills to enter the Fasque estate at Stankeye. We walk around the lake and past the walled garden to Fasque house and deerpark, before following a track around the north of the estate and past the Home Farm to emerge at Craigmoston bridge. We follow further estate roads back to the east side of the deerpark and then leave by the main lodge gates to cross the B974 and enter Fettercairn House grounds. After viewing the house, we walk past the farm buildings and then take a wooded footpath at the field edge back into Fettercairn. The walk is on quiet country roads and surfaced estate tracks.
