The walk leaves Manor Park and initially we will walk on some back roads through Old Glossop. We first pass Swineshaw Reservoir, skirt around Padfield and then drop down to the Longdendale Trail which we follow to the weir between Torside and Rhodeswood Reservoirs. Crossing over we then head back down on the other side along well maintained tracks past Valehouse and then Bottoms Reservoirs to Tintwhistle. We then have a climb up through Banks Wood before joining roads back to our cars.
The walk has 2 ascents and is on mostly good tracks and paths.
