Mellor Cross to Lyme Park circular

We cross a small heather moor towards a trig point giving a good view of Kinder Scout. Further along we get to Mellor Cross providing a view of Manchester.
Walk along through Disley Golf Course.
We pass by Bollin Reservoir with views of The Cage in the distance.
We cross pass Seven Springs (Girlguides) Camp Site before heading down to Newtown and over the iron railway bridge and on back to Torr Top car park

The views are great all the way round, there’s a good view of Kinder Downfall.
It can be very muddy in lots of places so boots and gaiters are essential.
