We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join Richard T for a walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal before heading to Fore Bridge, Long Walk, and Standen Manor. We then cross the A4 and skirt round Cake Wood, after lunch we descend to Littlecote Roman Villa where there will be time to view the remains and the mosaic in particular. We then return to Froxfield by field paths and tracks. This is an undulating walk mostly on good paths and tracks although the first part of the walk is very muddy so gaiters are recommended. There are 3 stiles.
