A hike across lesser-frequented hills on the north side of the Ochils. The route will take us past the Lower and Upper Glendevon Reservoirs to Glen Bee. From Glen Bee, we cross a low col into Glen of Kinpauch, then follow a track traversing the valley slope onto a ridge above Kinpauch Hill. On gaining the ridge, the route will head east over several hills, including Craigentaggert, Wether Hill and Common Hill, before dropping down to the car park at the start. Providing there is decent visibility, there are excellent views to the north across Strathearn, towards the Highlands, across the Ochils, and of Glen Devon and Glen Eagles.
The terrain consists of a tarmacadam water authority road, tussocky hill paths, quad bike tracks and pathless grassy hillsides; ~4km on tarmac. Gradients are generally moderate, though there are several short (<250m), steep sections.
