Overview

We start our walk heading out of Grassington following the Dales Way along the River Wharfe to Hebden. At Hebden we leave the river and pass through the village to pick up Hebden Beck which we follow onto Grassington Moor. Once on the Moor we come across the old abandoned lead mines, an interesting insight in to Grassington's industrial past.

From there we head down to the tiny hamlet of Yarnbury, past Bare House before descending back down into Grassington.

This is a steady walk on good tracks. Dogs are permitted but must be keep on a lead due to the presence of livestock and ground nesting birds throughout this walk.
