We are the Stockport Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
8 mile moderate circular walk from Brimham Rocks, starting at the Brimham Rocks National Trust Car Park. It is the Hartwith Heritage walk ( near Summerbridge)
It is a moderate walk through ancient semi -natural woodland, heather clad moorland and agricultural pasture land. The total ascent throughout the walk is 801 ft.
Note this walk is particularly muddy so the use of gaiters and poles if you use them is recommended.
On our return there will be time to explore the rocks if you so wish.
Parking: Pay & display (coins only). Car park £6.50 for 4 hours, £10 per day. Free for National Trust Members (you will need to scan your membership card).
