We are the Stockport Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walk details –This is a linear walk and the route includes Romiley Arms, Peak Forest Canal. Marple Aqueduct, Vesseys Mill, Brabyns Park, Mellor Mill, Roman Lakes, Floodgates Cottage, Brook Bottom, Torrs Mill, Torrs Hydro and New Miils Station to catch a train to Romiley at either 2 or 34 minutes passed the hour, at a current cost of £3.90, ticket machine at the station.
Risk assessment – Can be Muddy in places, small amount of road walking.

You can either drive to Romiley and leave your car there or arrive by train. The return train journey is from New Mills Central
