We cross the road from the pub and head towards Cheriton across the fields. We then take a short but gradual slope, several paths, then a wider track which becomes a footpath heading to Bramdean. There is a short road section with a footpath along the verge. When we reach the village we take paths up to and back along the ridge with views on both sides. It is an easy, mostly flat pleasant walk, 4.5 miles, with only one gradual hill as we leave Bramdean and 2 stiles.
As we have a booking to eat there, the pub are happy for us to park, using their top car park behind the pub and up the slope. We can order our food from 10am before we start the walk. There is a link to the menu above, but this may change slightly on the day.
