Overview

Starting at Forthside car park (at Vue Cinema) which is 0.25 mile walk from Stirling Train Station, taking a route to Cambuskenneth Abbey then through fields along the River Forth and on to Wallace’s Monument. We return to the car park via Stirling Castle and the King's Knot. Mainly tarmac walking with fields, farm tracks and rough woodland paths, some of which may be muddy. There may be sheep around.
