Overview

via Calshot, Ashlett Heath Common and coast. Picnic lunch.

Taking a path along a field edge opposite Gang Warily we head towards the Cadland estate on the edge of the forest. Tracks and footpaths make a fairly level walk out across heath and woodland to the coast.

Joining the Coast Path with views across the Solent we arrive at Ashlett Creek. A pleasant spot to take a rest and refreshment. Continuing along quiet lanes a forest track is joined which is followed to join our outward journey, where retracing our steps take us back to the start.
