A lovely, varied walk starting from Harvel Green past Holly Hill towards Hanging Hill Woods, where we have some fine views of the Medway Valley. Continuing via Lad's Farm we reach the 12th century St. Benedict's Church in Paddleworth (sadly not normally open) and enjoy further far-reaching views near Birling Place. After a gentle climb we reach the North Downs Way and return to Harvel.
The walk leads over footpaths and bridleways/tracks, some metalled. Paths in the woods will be muddy after rain. Some elevations, with the steepest hill leading down from Lad's Hill.
No dogs, please.
