Overview

A short circular walk around the RSPB grounds, Insh Marshes, and the Invertromie trail which lies on the B970.

This is a short walk of approx. 2.9 mls, just to stretch your legs after the drive up from the Forth Valley area. It is a walk of two halves. The first half is tricky underfoot with a million tree roots, big stones and very rough going in places. Walking poles could be a useful here and gaitors if it’s wet as we are walking through sections of knee high heather

For the second half we will walk alongside the River Tromie for a short spell, amble through a meadow before joining an ash path which eventually takes us back to the cars.
