Overview

The walk goes in a clockwise direction through Rockingshill Wood, part of the Standen Estate, past Standen Rocks, picking up the High Weald Landscape trail through the Gravetye Estate and returning via Kingscote Vineyard and the East Grinstead sports centre, mostly on forest tracks, quiet lanes and pleasant meadows; few stiles and little mud.

Please note that Plaw Hatch Lane is scheduled to be closed between Grinstead Lane and Legsheath Lane between 9.30 and 3.30, so the very narrow Legsheath Lane may be busy - be careful.

Tea possible afterwards at Standen - membership cards not required for entry to the cafe, but if you have one they can scan it to benefit from visitor numbers.
