Overview

This circular walk starts in a southerly direction on the Gritstone Trail. We walk to Wildboarclough and then make the steepest ascent of the day, Shutlingsloe. We descend from Shutlingsloe, through Macclesfield Forest to the Forest Chapel and then to Walker Barn. We join the Gritstone Trail again and return to the car park via Teggs Nose Country Park.
