Overview

One of the classic easy walks in the Cairngorms National Park, starting at Glenmore Visitor Centre, a 15 minute bus journey from Aviemore. The 3.5 miles Loch Morlich Circular takes us past the famous sandy beach and around the water surrounded by the Cairngorm mountains and Glenmore Forest. The trail is mostly on smooth gravel surfaces with some short muddy sections.

We return to Aviemore by the Old Logging Way, a level 6 mile cycle track.

Alternatively you might prefer to relax beside the Loch and return by bus at which runs 54 mins past the hour - 12.54, 13.54, 14,54
