This is a hilly walk using field paths, tracks and quiet country lanes.
From Marshfield we drop down into St Catherine's Valley, walking alongside a stream that can make the area marshy after wet weather. There are views of St Catherine's Court, the adjoining church and glimpses of Monkswood Reservoir.
We walk back up passing Oakford Farm and Ashwicke Grange.
Sticks or poles are recommended as this can be a muddy walk.
Bring refreshments for 2 stops.
