Overview

A walk down through Ubley Warren Wildlife Reserve to Velvet Bottom passing Roman lead mining rakes and buddle pits. After Velvet Bottom we climb up to the twin radio masts where we get good views to the west. We descend back into the ancient lead works with horizontal condensing chimneys and nature reserve area.
