We are the Livingston Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting beside the River Almond in Howden South, Livingston, we will follow a network of paths through Almond Park to & around Mid Calder. Most of us have travelled around the Lizzie Bryce roundabout but have you ever wondered who she was? Well now is your chance to find out & discover some more of Mid Calder's fascinating history on this walk.
At this time of year despite most paths being lit by streetlamps I would recommend bringing a headtorch or hand held torch with you & wearing walking boots as some paths may have puddles or be muddy after rain.
Parking area, Howden South Road, Livingston. The entrance is on the opposite side of the road near the entrance to Manitoba Avenue
