We are the High Weald Walkers Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk is different from the one done earlier this year, although some sections might be familiar to those who know Mayfield well. It's an anti-clockwise route with, as you'd expect as it's Mayfield, lots of ups and downs. However, it's a very scenic route so we'll have plenty of stops for catching our breath and having a drink - and I'll tell you a bit about what we're looking at as we go along.

The walk starts from the Mayfield Memorial Hall overflow carpark. If coming from the Tunbridge Wells direction on the A267, take the 1st turnoff signposted Mayfield i.e. the one before the roundabout. Follow the road for about a quarter of a mile. The carpark is on the left, through large metal gates which are always open, and just after passing on the right, the entrance to Mayfield School Playing Fields, and before the sharp right hand bend to the High Street. Go through the metal gates, turn left through the carpark passing the Memorial Hall on the right, to reach the overflow car park at the rear of the Hall. Parking is free.
