Overview

Please meet outside the main ticket office at Colchester North station by 08:30, at the latest, to catch the 08:49 train to Saxmundham, arriving at 09:52.

The walk itself is a circular walk stopping at Friston church for coffee and Snape Maltings for lunch, before returning to Saxmundham and ending with a drink or coffee before catching the train back to Colchester.

Please bring a packed lunch. You will be able to buy a drink at Snape Maltings if you would like to.

Train cost is £23 for an off peak day return, £15.30 if you have a railcard or do a group save with 3 or more people

I would appreciate it if you could let me know by email or text if you are intending to come so that I can gauge whether I need an extra leader. I understand that circumstances may change, but it would be helpful to have some idea of numbers. Also, please let me know if you are boarding the train somewhere other than Colchester.
