Overview

Mortimer Recreational Route is a moderate circular 4.2 mile route taking in Starvale Woods, Wokefield Common, and Pullen's Pond. All starting from the Stratfield Mortimer recreation ground parking. Plenty of wooded areas as can be expected.  There are some short ascents and descents along the way with only a few wet passable areas towards the start. A pub finish at the Horse and Groom if interested.

This walk is inspired by the recently reinstated Ramblers Work Party.
