Overview

Taking tracks which lead us off Snelsmore Common. We descend down 3 fields and then follow a footpath towards Lower Farm. We then go around a field leading to a footpath which leads to a road.

We will then follow a footpath across Boxford Common to Bagnor, We pass the Blackbird Public House and take a path which cross the A34. We head towards Donnington Castle .We pass the castle on the right .

We follow a path to Castle Farm cross back over the A34 and follow a track which pass the golf course, this track leads back onto Snelsmore Common.
