Overview

Located 3km south of Killarney is Muckcross Demesne, a 19th Century mansion set amoungst mountains and woodland, the house built by Henry Arthur Herbet in 1843, this casual walk through ancient woodlands that circle the lake and cloak the mountains.  This walk also visits a ruined 15th Century abbey, waterfall, and the viewpoint from Torc Mountain.
