Overview

A circular walk on paths and quiet roads. We have designed this in an effort to avoid the mud at this time of year , but there will inevitably be mud on the outbound downhill section. The return from Penhurst will be generally up hill but mainly on a quiet road.

We will have 2 planned stops first for coffee , then lunch , so bring refreshments as there are no cafes on the route .There is a small cafe at the start point in Netherfield. 

Well behaved dogs , on leads where appropriate ( ie on the road on the return ) are welcome.

There are some stiles which a dog may have to be lifted over and plenty of mud .

Lay by at junction of Netherfield road and Darvell Down, Netherfield. TN33 9QG There is parking for 3 or 4 cars in the lay-by , others should park in Darvell Down or surrounding roads and walk to meeting point .
