This is a circular hillwalk to the highest summit at the eastern end of the Ochil Hills. Starting in the lovely little village of Luthrie, the route makes a steady climb on good tracks and paths, with a rougher, steeper path to the summit. The top of the hill has panaromic views across the Firth of Tay to the Sidlaw Hills, the Carse of Gowrie, the City of Dundee and the distant Highlands. In the other direction lie the rolling hills and agricultural lands of Fife.
Although Norman's Law is not a particularly high hill, this route is still a hillwalk. So please wear and carry appropriate clothing and spares, including good waterproof boots, waterproof jacket and trousers, hat and gloves. Sufficient fluids and food for a day in the hills should be taken in your rucksack. Our walks usually take two 15 minute breaks, normally in the morning and for lunch. The route has some muddy sections, particulalry on the return from the hill.
