Overview

This circular walk starts in Penton Mewsey, and takes a varied route to and through the historic and attractive villages of Appleshaw, the "Chutes", Tangley, finally returning to Penton Mewsey, via Hatherden.

The route followed includes ancient tracks, open farmland and wooded lanes.

Whilst there are a few slopes, most of the walk is "on the flat".
