We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This undulating 11.5 mile circular walk begins in the Meon Valley in the centre of Droxford and takes in the surrounding villages of Soberton, Swanmore and the outskirts of Bishops Waltham.
Highlights include Droxford and Soberton churches, views across Little Common Down, the River Meon and a lunch stop that offers a view of the Isle of Wight if the weather is clear.
The route includes good tracks and footpaths and a number of stiles.
There could be some mud in places so poles might be useful.

The walk will start in the centre of Droxford by the church where there is some parking. Parking in Droxford centre is off the High Street opposite the entrance to Park Lane and by the Community Centre, post code SO32 3RB. (Note, further parking is available at the Fire Station car park in Union Lane opposite the entrance to a road called The Park)
