A short and easy walk high up on the north side of Mendip. It takes in the glorious beech drive of Hazel Manor, a special WW2 air crash monument, the amazing work being done in the woodland, great views and ancient woodland.
The walk is easy going, easy on the eye and good underfoot and is a mixture of ups and downs, with no stiles.
There is one field with a downward slope, walking pole/s recommended for this section of the walk.
Wear suitable footwear.
Always carry a drink, light refreshment, for during the walk.
Lunch together, but not compulsory, in a local cafe or similar at the end.
