Overview

We start our hike at 10am from Petersfield Heath Pond heading off to Buriton. Having reached Buriton we climb the Milky Way to join the South Downs Way with some lovely views if weather permitting. We then join the Sussex Border Path to West Heath Common and then take the Serpent Trail to Durford Mill and back to Heath Pond car park.

I would describe the hike as moderate and will be at a reasonable pace.

We will have a short coffee and lunch break.

For anyone interested in refreshments afterwards, we will take the short walk into Petersfield town where there are a number of pubs.

Dogs under control welcome.
