Overview

Starting from King George V Playing Field in Patterdale, we make our way over to Side Farm and start our ascent to The Knight via Hare Shaw. From there we will continue to the wonderful view point of High Dodd via Mortar Crag. Re-tracing our route to Low Moss Sheepfold, we then start our ascent to the highest point of our route - Place Fell. A steep descent takes us to Boredale Hause and then down to Bridgend. From here we will walk back to Side Farm via Crookabeck and make our way back to the start point.  The paths are mostly good with what could be a boggy section from The Knight to High Dodd. Parking is £5 via cash or scanning a QR code.
