When we arrive at Pollockshaws West we have a short walk into Pollock Park. The path then follows the White Cart Water. We pass a field with the well known Pollock Park Highland cattle. The path then takes us to Pollock House, which is closed for renovation at the moment. We can explore the walled garden here. We then follow round to look at the Covid Memorial figures scattered throughout the trees & walk up the Beech Avenue to join a tarmac track which we can follow round to the Burrell building. There are toilets here and a good cafe for coffee & cake or a light lunch.
The return trains are either 2. 30 or 3.30.
Meet at Kilmarnock train station by 9.10 am to purchase tickets.

Meet at Kilmarnock train station at 09:10am to purchase tickets for the 09:25 train to Pollockshaws West.
