We will walk up to the headland from where we will be rewarded with lovely views.
The path up to the top is steep and uneven but after a short sharp pull, we will be on the top with views along the coast.
We will walk along the headland then drop down steeply on uneven ground (once again short) into Overton Bay where we can stop for a cuppa.
From our tea stop, we continue along the coastal path before going slightly inland. We’ll then follow a green lane towards Port Eynon.
We will cross farmland with outstanding views of Port Eynon then head back to the start.
Once back, we can eat as much ice cream as we like or even have fish and chips! We could also have a swift pint in a local pub! (see below).
Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to the Ship Inn.
Directions: Follow the South Gower Road A4118 to its termination in the village of Port Eynon.
(You can use the Ramblers App as a Sat Nav to all our walks)
