Overview

This 4.2-mile meander on Haughmond Hill will start promptly at Upton Magna Memorial Hall, and we will go onto Haughmond Hill using field paths and a lane. The walk will involve going to all the viewpoints on Haughmond whilst also looking for fungi, listening to and identifying birds, and looking for other signs of wildlife, before returning via another lane back to the hall for the annual barbecue. Please bring binoculars if you have them. You may also want to bring a walking pole for the descent to the lane for the return.

Please text Amanda Hartley-Newton to reserve your place. Wendy Jarvis and Bob Newton will be helping with the walk.
