Overview

Starting from the Queen’s Head, we go under the railway bridge to Congleton Station and cross over the platform bridge and join the Macclesfield Canal. After a mile we cross the canal and head towards the Cloud. We turn right on the Timbersbrook road and then turn right onto the Gritstone Trail. We turn right onto Brookhouse Lane and then left into Hoofridge Farm. We cross some fields then turn right and walk along the hedgerow before dropping down to the canal before crossing the bridge and returning to the pub.
