Overview

We start by heading across the south side of Bucklebury Common before dropping down past Wooton's to the outskirts of Midgham, from where we follow primarily field paths to Colthrop Manor. We then climb gently up Harts Hill to enter the western edge of Bucklebury Common, from where we follow a variety of woodland and field paths, which eventually take us back to the car park. This walk is primarily in the woods, which make up a substantial part of the Common and some paths can be very wet and muddy at this time of year, although the beautiful autumn colours should compensate. There are four stiles, all of which are in good condition.
