Overview

A lovely walk around Asfordby, we start by climbing the hill towards Saxelbye then head down via an old disused canal bed to join the river Wreake. We pass the site of an old priory then head across a lake to rejoin the river which we follow, passing a disused lock from the time when the Wreake was navigable. We walk around more lakes before returning to the start.
