Overview

Woodland and field paths starting with an ascent through Beggarswell Woods. There are some steep stretches as we head for Alderwasley Hall and then Alderwasley village. Excellent views across the Derwent Valley to Crich and Crich Stand. The return is through Shining Cliff Woods and along the River Derwent.
