A circular walk from Roman Camp, Cropton with fine views, woodland, field, track and some road walking, and one steep ascent.
Starting from the main car park at Roman Camp we will meander through the Roman camp area before briefly joining the road down to Keldy Banks. We then head northwards to beyond High Cawthorne before walking eastwards along the track named Peat Road. At Middle Farm we join the Tabular Hills Walk over Stony Moor, (which can be rough in places), before climbing steeply up to Newton-on-Rawcliffe. Then meandering in an easterly direction we return to the start via West Dike Road and Saintoft Grange.
Note - There is now a charge to park at Roman Camp, £6 when checked in June.
