Wolds Way through South Cave
Meet in South Cave near the Fox and Coney. The walk takes us from South Cave uphill through Little Wold Plantation towards Comber Dale, Weedley Dale, and West Hill Plantation, which have stunning views over the wolds towards the Humber. At the road, we turn left onto the public footpath that takes us towards Drewton Manor. We return to Comber Dale and take the footpath that leads to Swinescaife Road, and just before the end of the path, we turn right into Little Wold plantation and then follow the footpath to the Beverley Road in South Cave.
There are some hills, so boots and walking poles may be helpful. Bring drinks and snacks as we will have a couple of breaks to take in the scenery.
A car park near the Leisure Centre on Church Street is available. A very small car park is located at the top of Church Street near to Market place junction and is also available. On Street Parking is also available, but please be considerate when parking in residential areas.
Public Transport is possible from Hull to South Cave. The number 55 from Hull to Goole will drop you off in South Cave Market Place
