The Monday walk of the Peak District weekend is in the White Peak area. Starting from the Peak
Village car park, exploring Stanton Moor and visiting the Nine Ladies stone circle. A small early
Bronze Age stone circle traditionally believed to depict nine ladies turned to stone as a penalty for
dancing on Sunday. The Peak Village offers an assortment of shops, toilets and cafes where we can
have a drink before setting off for home.
