Meeting & start time & place: 11.00 at Sale Water Park Metrolink stop
Estimated finish time: back at Sale Water Park Metrolink by 14.00
Tram ticket: if you do not have a concessionary travel pass you will need a tram ticket that covers from your starting station to Zone 3
Note: walkers are advised to check the TfGM website / Bee Network app to ensure that trams are running normally on the day.
Car Use / Parking - available near to the tram stop
Walk Route - Sale Waterpark Metrolink stop, Jackson's Boat, along River Mersey to Kenworthy Wood, cross the river, Chorlton Park (toilets / cafe), along River Mersey (opposite bank and direction), around Sale Water Park and back to the tram stop.
Walking boots or shoes and clothes (waterproof jacket in wet weather conditions) are essential.
Please bring light lunch / snack and non alcoholic drinks. We will stop to have lunch / snack half way round.
