Overview

Meet at 10am at the cafe next to the free Car Park (toilets available), just two minutes from J6 on the M60 for this flat, easy walk.

We walk down to Jackson's Boat, along the River Mersey, visit the secret orchard, through Kenworthy Woods for a coffee stop in Chorlton Water Park (toilets available and possibly ice creams!). Continue around the water park to rejoin the Trans Pennine Way, walk round Sale Water Park and back to the CP.
