Overview

Starting at the Hearing Dogs Centre we walk up the main road for a short while towards Saunderton, and then turn north towards Lacey Green to join the higher ground. We head south through fields and farmland towards Bradenham woods. There are great views across the valley towards Speen. We will stop a third way round for a short snack break and then continue towards and into Bradenham where will stop for lunch around the cricket green with some well-placed benches available. We walk through the village and cross the road again to walk uphill into Allnuts woods with views now to the Lacey Green and Bradenham side of the valley. The trees are turning colour and may give us a hint of Autumn in the air. We glimpse the Lacey Green Windmill in the distance and then head along the road a short way and then through the edges of the quarry which is a haven for wildlife and has some fantastic berry displays on offer. We retrace to the start point where refreshments are available until 4pm. Card only.

Toilets available start and finish at the Grange café at the Hearing Dogs Centre. Staff are all volunteers and any money we donate via the cafévgoes to this worthy cause.

Well behaved dogs are allowed. A fewv stiles and one or two steep inclines. May be horses in a field.
