We are the Cleveland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The first half of the route follows quiet roads and field paths, N to Scaling village, N again on to the unclassified Mill road, E then S to Birch Hill farm and the A171. The rest of the route is on moorland tracks, SW on Roxby High Moor to the Long Stone, then E and N to the west end of the reservoir and back to the start.
No cattle. There are public toilets near the sailing club car park. We pass the toilets near the end of the walk.
There will be a ten minute break. Please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
