A quintessential walk in the heart of the Lake District, taking in Easedale Tarn, Blea Rigg, Sergeant Man, ((plus possibly/maybe High Raise) Codale Head, Tarn Crag and Greathead Crag, with wonderful views of the surrounding fells.
This walk is strenuous with rough, rocky ground and some boggy stretches. (B+ grade on the old standard) Maximum 12 people. Unsuitable for dogs.
High Raise is optional and can be included if time and weather allows. This would add approx 1 mile and 30 minutes to the walk (10 miles instead of 9). Negligible addition to the total ascent.
Public Toilets available in Grasmere village. Fee payable
