Overview

Starting in Elterwater we will ascend Lingmoor, almost 470m.  The route up has some steep sections and will most likely be muddy in parts. Weather permitting, the views from the top are well worth the hike! The route down has some steep parts, expect to have 3 or 4 points of contact.

After Lingmoor the route skirts Blea Tarn and follows Bleamoss Beck to Little Langdale.  (more bog!)  On the way through Little Langdale we pass Slater Bridge, Colwith and Skelwith Force, and finally stroll back via Elterwater.
