Overview

A circular walk of around 7 miles, starting from Station Road, Shackerstone. The route follows peaceful country paths through fields and woodland and a section of the Leicester Round - minor undulations only. We pass through the villages of Barton in the Beans, Carlton and Market Bosworth (probably for the lunch stop), with no stiles and very little road walking.
