We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
!! Starting from the Quarry Car Park !! we will walk over the dam, around the base of Sheeps tor and then around the back to climb to the summit the easiest way (if the weather is good enough). Return will be down the southern slope, through Sheepstor hamlet and back to the start.
We should get great views from Sheeps tor. I will adjust the walk on the day depending on weather.
Norsworthy Bridge at the north-east end of the reservoir is closed for maintenance so I have had to re-plan the walk.
