Overview

Delightful  walk Dartmoor Countryside, River Dart, Tors and stepping stones. Bluebells and superb views.

Maybe some slight muddy sections and crossing river on 3 lots of stepping stones. Walking poles may be helpful, also you may need help across stones by some courteous Gents.

We will stop for coffee and lunch on our route, back at the Dartmeet car park there is a small cafe kiosk selling ice-creams, light lunches and drinks. (Toilets at CP. on recce were closed on recce).

Car park fee £3 daily rate, cash or card only machine. ( cash quicker on recce , some visitors had trouble with card) . The Chalet Refreshment cabin offers parking £1 daily rate.  Bring mat to sit on.

not recommended for dogs as river crossings on stepping stones and fields with ponies and cows.

Text or ring Jenny the Leader to book on walk.
